Residential Care

At Lighthouse Child and Family Services, our Residential Care Services are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people in need of immediate and specialised care. Our comprehensive range of services includes emergency care, therapeutic care, intensive care, and supported independent living, each tailored to meet the unique needs of those we serve.

Emergency Care: We offer immediate, short-term care for children and young people in crisis, ensuring they have a safe and stable place to stay during times of emergency. Our compassionate team is trained to handle urgent situations with sensitivity and care, providing comfort and security when it’s needed most.

Therapeutic Care: Our therapeutic care services are focused on addressing the emotional and psychological needs of children and young people who have experienced trauma or other challenges. Through individualised therapy, counselling, and supportive relationships, we help them heal and build resilience for the future.

Intensive Care: For those requiring more specialised and comprehensive support, our intensive care services provide around-the-clock care and supervision. We work closely with each child to develop a personalised care plan that addresses their specific needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention.

Supported Independent Living: As young people transition to adulthood, our supported independent living services offer guidance and support to help them build the skills they need to live independently. We provide a structured environment where they can learn life skills, gain confidence, and prepare for a successful future.

Our Residential Care Services are committed to nurturing each child’s well-being, promoting healing and growth, and helping them reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.
